Barcelona Bombings, 1936-1938

My grandmother, always told me as a child how she remembered the bombings during the spanish civil war. She was just a kid, but still remembered the scary noise of the alarm siren, and how her mother toke her running to the subway metro station, the improvised refuge of the peoples of Barcelona.

The nazi luftwaffe and the italian air force planes tested in Barcelona the bombs that they were going to use in the second world war, so Barcelona and their peoples only were a simple giant place where they could test their power of destruction.
